Hi to everyone,i hope that every one is all ok here in ch-ch after what can only be described as tragic,what with the quake and all the after shocks.I know that we will all know people that have been affected in some way or an other.Our thoughts are with all these people.We were lucky to escape any damage out here at the farm,and i am pleased to report that all your horses are ok and unaffected by all the going on's.
On the racing front we have been quiet,with only The Burnside Flyer racing.
This coming Tues we have him and a nice 2yr old filly named Alchemist racing at Oamaru.Both should have a good chance.
We have had a number of 2yr olds at the work outs lately and all of them have been going very well.We have 2 of the colts going to the trials on wed to qualify.They are a colt by Elsu called Dan Down Under who I like a lot,and a colt by Courage Under Fire called Geds Courage who also goes around nicely.
We bought a lovely Christian Cullen colt at the sale in Auckland who is breaking in very nice.Also we have yearlings by Badlands Hanover,Armbro Operative, and Bettors Delight good news for us and the owners is that Soak It Up is over his foot problem and will start work this week.Looking forward to him being back on the race track.
